As the main campus, we often serve as a training ground for employees who are recruited to bring their expertise to our branch campuses. Such is the case with Chris Ford. Chris will be joining the admissions team at our new Redding campus next week. Chris’ last day on our campus is Wednesday. Please drop by and wish him well. Chris is a graduate of our school, and served as our Assistant Registrar before becoming an Admissions Representative last year. We wish Chris and his family well in Redding.
Mark Llanes has moved from his role as Registrar to his new role as an Admissions Representative. Mark is also a graduate of our school, and has been very successful in the Registrar’s office. We believe he will bring the same level of passion and excellence to his new position. Mark will occupy the cubicle formerly occupied by Chris Ford (extension 1768).Misty Laurence has accepted the position of Registrar, and has moved into Mark Llanes’ former office (A-17, extension 1788). Misty (who is also a graduate) has served as our Student Success Leader for the past 15 months. She has an eye for detail and a heart for our students, and will thrive in this new role. We have begun the search for a new Student Success Leader to replace her.
Leann Rasmussen recently graduated from our Professional Medical Assisting program, and starts today as a Career Services Advisor, working mainly with graduates from our medical programs. Her extension is 1801. Please welcome her to the IOT team! Sarah Dupuis (not an IOT grad!) is our new Clinical Coordinator for our LVN program. We expect to launch the LVN program in about a year, and Sarah is doing important foundational work as we prepare for that exciting new adventure. Sarah works from home, but you will have opportunities to get to know her when she is on campus. In addition to looking for a new Student Success Leader, we continue to search for a new Division Director (either Business or Technical), a new Receptionist, and some instructors as well (HRA, CA, HVAC, NST, Math, English, and Criminology). Thank you again to all of you for what you do to help make our school a great place for students and employees alike!
