Business Instructors for Roseville Campus Needed

Institute of Technology - Roseville is seeking qualified Human Resources and Accounting Instructors for our business department.  Instructors must meet basic qualifications, and be able to fulfill all of the position’s duties while maintaining a positive outlook and desire to change students’ lives for the better. We have two openings for night-class instructors.

All instructors must have a minimum of 3 years field experience in order to teach. Bachelor’s degree is required. Instructors are responsible for lesson planning and delivery of materials to students, lectures, hands-on skills, and grades.
Each instructor is also responsible for retention and monitoring the progress of any student that falls below a 70%, by following up with those students using advisement forms which states their current grade, missing assignments, number of days absent, left early or tardy, and what they can do to improve.

  • Instructors for the Institute of Technology in Roseville will use computerized grading systems to track assignments, attendance, and accumulative grade percentages that they must inform each student about regarding their progress on a weekly basis.
  • Instructors attend a monthly meeting with the Director of Education.
  • Instructors also attend department meetings on a weekly basis with the Business Division Director.

Clovis Campus - Medical Billing/Coding Instructor - Part Time

Medical Billing and Coding Instructor

Institute of Technology - Clovis is seeking qualified medical billing and codinig instructors for our  medical department.  Instructors must meet basic qualifications, and be able to fulfill all of the position’s duties while maintaining a positive outlook and desire to change students’ lives for the better.

All instructors must have a minimum of 3 years field experience in order to teach. Teaching experience is preferred. Instructors are responsible for lesson planning and delivery of materials to students, lectures, hands on skills, and grades.

Medical Billing and Coding Instructor

Institute of Technology - Roseville campus is seeking a full time medical billing and coding instructor to start  immediately.

Each instructor is responsible for communicating class content to students so that learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to continue to learn and to achieve their educational objectives.  With daily supervision provided by the division director, all instructors will be responsible to the Director of Education.  Fulltime instructors are expected to work a forty-hour workweek, which includes 36 hours of classroom contact and 4 hours of office time.

There is a minimum requirement of an Associates Degree and 3 years of work experience, or 8 years of  Medical Billing or Coding experience.

Director of FA - Modesto

Institute of Technology - Modesto Campus is looking for a Director of Financial Aid for full time employment.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Campus President, the Financial Aid Director is responsible for administrating the financial aid programs in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Ensure that state, federal guidelines for student enrollment and financial aid eligibility
-          Experience in team building, goal achievement and strong verbal/written communication skills.
-          Counsel students to determine need-options, perform needs analysis
-          Review student files for accurate funding, ensure compliance
-          Answer parent and student questions regarding financial aid options and funding
-          Coordinate and train all personnel in financial aid
-          Responsible for reviewing Satisfactory Academic Policy procedures
-          Coordinate with Campus BURSAR to ensure disbursements to students are accurate
-          Monitor student account activity
-          Make sure all accounts are balanced
-          Monitor date entry
-          Interact with all outside agencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations and policies a must.
A minimum of 5 years FA experience.

Director of Admissions - Redding Campus

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Director of Admissions is responsible for meeting or exceeding minimum company standards for the Admissions Department, including start objectives and overall staff stability.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage Admissions Representatives.
  2. Supervise the hiring, training, and review of all admissions staff members.
  3. Provide admissions staff advising.
  4. Assist with the marketing of the schools programs.
  5. Meet or exceed the start goals.
  6. Provide required reports and support to the marketing agency.
  7. Provide College Director with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as outlined in Admissions Standards.
  8. Coordinate training of campus admissions staff.
  9. Assist in the development of Quarterly Improvement Plans.
  10. Perform second interviews with a percentage of student applicants to ensure compliance with governing agency regulations.
  11. Review admissions files and approve start prior to forwarding files to financial aid.
  12. Re-assign leads as needed.
  13. Participate in weekly staff and management meetings, in-service sessions, student orientations, graduations, advisory board meetings, and other school events as required by the school.
  14. All other duties as assigned by the College Director.

  • Delivering persuasive and informational presentations to student leads
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews and e-mail correspondence to prospective students to determine their educational needs, concerns and interests.
  • Addresses any issues or concerns raised by students or parents of students regarding cost, financing, dress code, curriculum, tutoring, testing procedures, or cancellation policy.
  • Closely assist and mentor students through admissions process.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure enrollment
  • Effectively and accurately communicate school policies, processes, and procedures relating to the various student support services including part-time and graduate employment, financial aid, etc.
  • Verbally communicate approved presentations to promote programs to prospective students.

Requirements

  • College degree in marketing, business or related area preferred or a minimum of 3 years direct sales experience in admissions, recruiting or other intangible sales.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse customer base.
  • Must be a competent administrator and a self-starter and have the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Must also be a team player, willing to share and exchange information and ideas.
